Wrong credit

Ishaq Dar ‘proudly’ took the credit for raising the monthly EOBI pension from Rs3,600 to Rs5,250 per month, which was in fact done after the SC intervened on behalf of the beneficiaries.
The PML-N government has reduced profit rates on different savings schemes by about Rs150-200 per month. This is despite the fact that mostly pensioners, widows and elderly, retired people have deposited their savings in national savings schemes. The Supreme Court should also take notice of this injustice. Moreover, people do not just need electricity, they need cheap electricity.
