Mina Hasan, granddaughter of iconic singer Noor Jehan whose fashion brand is ‘Mina Hasan’, is all set to launch her new embroidered collection on 15th of September and will be retailed at leading fabric stores in Lahore and Karachi
Mina Hasan established her eponymous label in 2002. Inspired by her mother’s sense of style, Mina Hasan went on to start her design house specifically for haute couture and later expanded to include an exclusive line of semi-formal Prêt-à-Porter. The design philosophy guiding Mina Hasan label is to create clothes that are glamorous and regal. The team at Mina Hasan believes in producing clothes of the highest quality and every process is vigorously monitored at each stage of production. With their strength lying in the cut and finish of each piece, all the fabrics, stones and laces are handpicked and imported personally to ensure a flawless level of quality. Currently, the brand is based in Karachi but is available in Lahore, England, Dubai, India and US.
The Mina Hasan embroidered collection captures a festive theme this fall with their floral motifs juxtaposed with geometric elements and soft blush colours. Inspired by French landscape with plays on light and dark tones, the color palette is an assortment of elegantly soft pastels and warm fall hues, mimicking autumn shades. The silhouettes are delicate with structured cuts with laces and embellishments that are used to accentuate the fabrics and add movement to the outfits. The collection makes use of chiffons and silks and is a celebration of femininity with sheer fabrics and ornamentation – both modern and classic. The Mina Hasan brand prides itself on a design philosophy that encourages women to develop their own sense of style whilst inculcating a general sense of poise and elegance. Today the brand has a wider-reaching goal of becoming a lifestyle brand which is based on the very same design philosophy and includes clothes, interiors, décor and furniture.
