Flour crisis: Punjab officials sold wheat from warehouses

LAHORE: The Punjab government has failed to protect wheat stored in public warehouses amid recent severe flour crisis, allegedly letting officials illegally sell thousands of bags worth at least Rs200 million, sources told The News. An official said several instances have emerged recently wherein staff of the provincial food department.
