Islamabad : The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) will screen an Iranian film, Damascus Time, in its auditorium here on Friday in collaboration with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The event is meant to inform the local residents about 40 years of Iranian cinema and thus, strengthening the cultural ties between the two countries.
The Damascus Time made by internationally acclaimed director and producer Ebrahim Hatamikia is about an Iranian pilot and his co-pilot son, whose plane was seized by militants in Syria as the former carried a cargo of humanitarian relief supplies to people in a war zone. They faced many challenges in the endeavour.
