Islamabad : A committee of the federal education ministry will meet on Thursday (February 6) to consider the time scale promotion cases of Islamabad's teachers.
According to the Central Academic Staff Association, which represents more than 2,000 faculty members of Islamabad's 19 model colleges, it is in contact with the Federal Directorate of Education and has offered full cooperation to it on the matter.
CASA leaders Prof Mahboob Ahmad, Prof Ziaudin and Farzana have been made the focal persons in this regard.
The association will later work for the resolution of other longstanding issues, including teacher promotions, revision of four-tier promotion formula both for junior and senior sections, and hiring.
A meeting of the CASA and unit representatives was held at the G-10/4 IMCB to make a strategy for the resolution of these issues.
