PSO honoured

KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO), Pakistan’s largest energy company, was awarded first position in the Fuel and Energy category at the Best Corporate Report Award ceremony, a PSO press release said on Saturday.
The award evaluates reports based on certain criteria, including transparency, timeliness, accuracy and disclosures for all users, it added.
“This ceremony honours companies that voluntarily provide relevant and timely information to stakeholders and over the past few years has played a key role in raising the standards of corporate and financial reporting in Pakistan,” the press release explained. The award was received by PSO’s managing director, Sheikh Imran-ul-Haq.
