Three children injured in Lower Dir blast

TIMERGARA: Three children sustained injuries when a toy bomb exploded in the Khanabad village in Maidan area of Lower Dir district here on Thursday, police said. They said the toy bomb went off when the children were playing with it outside their house in Khanabad Dokrai village in the Maidan area, once a flashpoint of militancy in 2009. Those injured were identified as Haseena, 12, Aiman, 8, and Habib Ahmad, 9, all children of Kaleemullah. The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Timergara where their condition was stated to be stable.
