190 held in drive against encroachments

The traffic police have arrested 190 people in the drive against encroachments in different parts of the provincial capital during the last one week, an official said.

He said that the traffic police have accelerated action against those causing hurdles in smooth flow of traffic and have booked 190 persons during the week-long campaign. The official said that action was taken in Tehkal, Customs Chowk, Qissa Khwani, Sabzi Mandi, Bacha Khan Chowk, Shoba, Khyber Bazaar and other areas.
