Despite several attempts by rescuers and common citizens, a minor girl who fell into a nullah on Saturday could not be recovered alive or death until Sunday night.
Six-year-old Fatima fell into the nullah while she was playing outside her residence at Paposh Nagar area in Nazimabad a day ago. Following the incident, a large number of area people started the rescue work on their own in a bid to find the girl.
Later, rescuers from different welfare associations also joined the search operation but the girl was nowhere to be found. On Sunday morning, divers from the Pakistan Navy and rescuers of the Edhi Foundation again started the search operation. Unfortunately, they have so far failed to find the missing girl.
