CHARSADDA: The Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) provincial head Sikandar Sherpao said on Thursday that the Transparency International report had exposed the bad governance and rampant corruption in the country.
He was speaking at the workers’ convention in connection with preparation for holding 45th anniversary of Shaheed Hayat Muhammad Khan Sherpao at Sherpao village. He said that those, who had created flour crisis, were sitting in the provincial cabinet. “The rulers have lost their moral justification and should step down in the larger interests of the country,” he maintained. He said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) came into power over the tall claims of bringing change and eradication of corruption in 90 days but the Transparency International Report had exposed its performance and corruption. He said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) like a mega project had become an international issue due to the flawed policies of the incumbent government.
