First Kissan market to be established in Multan

MULTAN: The first Kissan market will be established on three acres of land in Samijabad to provide vegetables to people at controlled rates. The place for the market has been located adjacent to Multan fruit and vegetables market. Punjab CM Usman Buzdar ordered the establishment of Kissan markets in Punjab districts. The Punjab government is providing free of cost land to farmers where they will set up their shops and will sell fruit and vegetables directly to the public at reduced rates. AC Abida Farid marked the spot at the piece of land of Irrigation Department.
