‘Expats’ grievances to be redressed’
LAHORE: Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Passand Khan Buledi called on senior adviser of Federal Ombudsman Lahore Region Nadeem Ashraf in his office and discussed matters related to complaints of overseas Pakistanis pending regarding federal government departments.
Member Federal Ombudsman Dr Saqib Aziz was also present on this occasion. Talking to the commissioner OPC, Senior adviser of Regional Office of Federal Ombudsman assured that his department will fully cooperate with the commission in resolving the issues of overseas Pakistanis.
The grievances of overseas Pakistanis related to Federal government departments will be taken on priority, he added. Complaint portals of both departments shall be interlinked to ensure quick response on complaints and their redressal after the consent of the respective competent authorities.
The commissioner OPC said that Commission is mobilising all its available resources for the redressing grievances of Overseas Pakistanis.
