Inordinate delay
The Sindh Public Service Commission conducted the written examination of around 2300 candidates for Combined Competitive Examination 2019 (CCE 2019) during the month of April, 2019. Over eight months have passed since the exam but its results have yet to arrive. It is pertinent to mention here that there were only eight papers. Interestingly, the Federal Public Service Commission announced the results of the CSS, despite there being twelve papers and over ten thousand candidates for that exam, within the time span of eight months.
This kind of inordinate delay is incomprehensible. The concerned authorities must take notice of the delay in the result announcement to ensure merit and transparency and to quell the unrest amongst those who appeared in that exam.
