Bacha Khan Trust Research Centre publishes new books
PESHAWAR: The Bacha Khan Trust Research Centre (BTRC) has published books titled Adme Tashuddad Mafkora ao Taglaara (Non –violence, narrative and way forward), Jaba Qaam ao Adab (Language, Nation and Literature) penned down by Dr Khadim Hussain. Another book Bacha Khan Ao Khudai Khidmatgaari (Baacha Khan and Khudai Khidmatgar Movement) by Khan Abdul Wali Khan in four volumes has also been brought out after 15 years. BTRC also published a book by a young writer Khan Zaman Kakar titling Pukhtani Leed Luri (Pashtun Perspectives) and the book on the life and works of known writer late Farmanuddin Bakhshaali. The centre runs a bookstore shelving its titles and also important works of other publishers to facilitate bibliophiles, research scholars and avid readers. Several important documents throwing light on the struggle of Bacha Khan’s Khudai Khidmatgaar Movement and services of his colleagues and staunch followers were preserved from being destroyed.
