MANSEHRA: The district administration on Friday started reopening the roads blocked by heavy snowfall in Siran valley. Several link roads including Jabori-Mundachucha route were blocked because of the recent snowfall in the valley, causing inconvenience to locals.
Wasif Shah, the sub-divisional officer for Communication and Works Department, told reporters that excavator and shovel machines had been moved to the areas and clearance was in progress. He said that Jabori-Mundachucha road would be cleared for the traffic soon. Also, Mahandri-Kaghan section of Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road, which was blocked to traffic following heavy snowfall in Kaghan valley earlier this week, also remained blocked so far.
