UET alumni-funded computer lab inaugurated
LAHORE:The inauguration ceremony for the alumni-funded computer lab was held at Mechatronics and Control Engineering Department of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) here on Friday.
UET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar inaugurated the lab funded by the university’s alumni. Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar expressed his gratitude to the alumni for raising over Rs 4 million for purchase of 45 brand new computers.
He also appreciated Salman Nasir Khan and Haroon Nasir Khan for their leading role in raising the funds. He also thanked Assistant Prof Dr Mohsin Rizwan for taking the initiative and mobilising the alumni for the establishment of the computer lab.
MoU: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between University of Education (UE) and Selcuk University, Turkey, to strengthen the cooperation with each other.
Under the MoU, exchange of faculty members for lectures and short-term visits and exchange of students for academic study would take place. Similarly, the MoU will cover exchange of students and post-doctoral fellows to conduct basic scientific research, invitations to scholars for participation in conferences and symposia and planning for joint exploration of national and international funding opportunities to accomplish the aims of cooperative agreements between the institutions.
UE Vice-Chancellor of Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and Selcuk University Rector Prof Dr Mustafa signed the MoU. LLB forms: Punjab University (PU) has issued the schedule for submission of admission forms for LLB (5 years) Part-I, II, III and IV annual examinations 2020.
The last date for submission of admission forms for regular candidates of LLB (5 years) Part-I, II, III and IV annual examinations 2020 with single fee is March 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2020 while the forms can be submitted with double fee till March 24, 25, 26 and 27, respectively.
