Lawyer passes away

CHITRAL: A senior lawyer, Ghulam Hazrat Inqilabi, passed away due to brain haemorrhage here on Thursday. He was admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Chitral after suffering brain haemorrhage a day earlier. It was learnt that the doctors had advised his family to shift him to a hospital in Peshawar for better medical care but they could not shift him as the road was closed due to snowfall. "We failed to shift him to Peshawar due to closure of road and there were no required facilities at the DHQ hospital," said one of his relatives, adding, their plea to airlift him via helicopter was also went unheard. He was a noted lawyer and remained the president of the District Bar Association, Chitral.
