The bodies of a woman and a man were separately found in different areas on Thursday.
According to police, a woman was found dead near Lasbella Chowk, within the limits of Gulbahar police station. The body was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.
Police said they were making efforts to ascertain the identity of the deceased who was apparently in her mid-20s.
Separately, a man was found near Jhangvi Chowk in Baldia Town, within the remits of Ittehad Town police station. Rescuers moved the body to the CHK for medico-legal formalities.
The man was later identified as 52-year-old Mumtaz, son of Daud, who was resident of Keamari area.
Police said they were waiting for a post-mortem report which would ascertain the cause of death.
