This refers to the letter 'Summit saga' (Jan 13) by Huma Arif. It is a common misconception that Mahathir Mohamad and Erdogan are supporting Kashmiris merely due to their friendship with Pakistan. Fortunately, both of these great leaders believe in the unity of Muslims and they understand the geostrategic policies of Pakistan.
Their stand on Kashmir is based on their ideologies and has no connection to any diplomatic moves. Pakistan has cordial relations with Malaysia and Turkey and has done well in maintaining balance on the see-saw of diplomacy.
