Bullets seized from woman at airport
LAHORE:The Airport Security Force (ASF) Monday recovered seven 9mm pistol bullets from a woman at Lahore Alama Iqbal International airport.
According to Lahore airport sources, the woman was travelling to Jeddah by Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-3737. The bullets were recovered from her bag at the ASF counter when she was boarding. The woman in her initial statement claimed that she had mistakenly taken the bag of her brother instead of her while leaving from home to airport. The woman claimed that her brother had an arms licence.
ASI dies: Operator of SP Civil Lines died of cardiac arrest in the wee hours of Monday. Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy. ASI Abid’s condition went critical. He was rushed to hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. Police quoting doctors said the ASI died of cardiac arrest. Sources claimed that Abid got dejected when the SP admonished him for requesting a leave.
