Maestros perform at musical evening

LAHORE:A musical evening was organised by Lahore Art Council as part of a series of events named "Aik Sham Fankaro Ke Naam" on Friday at Alhamra Arts Centre, The Mall.

The event was beautiful and memorable with musicians, singers and teachers, i.e. Ustaad Shafqat Ali Khan and Ustaad Shahbaz Ali Khan. During the show, renowned tabla players Ustaad Shafqat Ali Khan and Ustaad Shahbaz Ali Khan along with Faizan Ali Khan, Nadir Ali Khan and Ali Dani enthused the audience with their mesmerising performances in the musical evening.

Lahore Art Council (LAC) Executive Director Ather Ali Khan said Alhamra always remembered its heroes and artists because its aim was to support art and artist as they did a lot in the field of art to highlight the name of the country.

The musical programmed aimed to promote music and provide quality entertainment to the public. He said, “We are trying to give people a quality entertainment because today’s stressful life needed more relaxation than ever.”

A large number of people from all walks of life attended the programme and appreciated the efforts of Lahore Art Council for the promotion of arts and culture in the provincial metropolitan.
