RCB holds ‘Open Kutcheri’
Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board on Thursday arranged an ‘Open Kutcheri’ in office to listen to the grievances of citizens related to basic facilities.
The ‘Kutcheri’ attended by a large number of people of their respective wards was chaired by Cantonment Executive Officer, Rawalpindi, Sibtain Raza and attended by Secretary Qaisar Mahmood and heads of their respective branches. The ‘Kutchery’ commenced at 11.30 a.m. and continued till 1.30 pm.
The major issues brought into the notice of executive officer were related to water, sanitation, drainage and sewerage.
After listening to the grievances, the executive officer directed the heads of their concerned sections to resolve the issues at the earliest and submit its report to him. He also directed the RCB staff to resolve the basic issues of citizens on priority. On the occasion, Sibtain Raza while addressing the participants announced to hold such ‘open kutcheri’ every month. The next one would be arranged on February 10 or February 11 and the exact date would announced later on.
