Mainly hot and humid weather was observed in the provincial capital here Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for Monday (today).The Met officials said seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan and its adjoining area and weak monsoon currents are penetrating into upper parts of the country. A shallow westerly trough is expected to affect upper parts of the country on Saturday night, they said, adding however, rain-thundershower is expected at few places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan divisions, upper FATA and Kashmir. Maximum temperature in the city on Sunday was 38 degree Celsius while in the country was 46 at Sibbi. Rain was observed in various cities such as Kakul, Malamjabba, Jhelum, Parachinar, Islamabad, Saidpur, Sialkot, Mangla, Chaklala, Bokra, Shamsabad, Kalam, Cherat, Peshawar, Dir, Garhi Duppata, Gujrat, Kotli, MB Din, Murree, Muzaffarabad and Rawalakot.
