A soldier’s sacrifice

This refers to the news report, ‘Lt-Col Faisal among two soldiers killed in Shawal clash’ (August 25).
We have lost a brave soldier, a kind-hearted man and a mentor for his successors. Lt-Col Faisal Malik Shaheed sacrificed his life for the stability of this homeland and to safeguard the lives of the people of Pakistan from terrorists. The whole nation is indebted to him.
