Call to save children from narcotics
BATKHELA: The office-bearers of a non-governmental organisation on Sunday urged the people to help save children from drugs in Malakand district.
Speaking at a function held at the Pak-Cambridge School in Badwan, ‘Da Haq Awaz Tanzim’s provincial vice-chairman Abdul Aziz, finance secretary Mehran Khan, Psychiatric Dr Niaz, Excise and Taxation Inspector Shahid Hussain and school principal Mushtaqur Rehman said that the drug-use among the children was on the rise in the country. “We need to make joint efforts to save our children from the drugs and eradicate the curse of drugs from society,” Abdul Aziz said.
They called upon the people to help the organisation in cleansing the society of drugs and protect the future of the children.
Later, the school principal gave shields to the students for the best performance on behalf of the organisation.
