If the need arose, the federal government will take a decision if injured Mutahida Qaumi Movement MNA Rashid Godil will be shifted abroad for treatment.
This was stated by the federal minister for states and frontier regions Lt General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch on Saturday while talking to newsmen at the Liaquat National Hospital on a visit to inquire about Godil’s health.
Baloch said investigation was under way by the law-enforcement agencies and the progress in this regard was being duly intimated to the federal government. “I have been informed by the doctors the health of Rashid Godil has improved a lot. The doctors are also positive about his recovery,” he said.
Later, the federal minister went to the residence of former provincial home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza to condole the death of his father Justice (retd) Zafar Hussain Mirza.
The federal minister said the deceased Supreme Court judge was an exemplary human being who had rendered great services for upholding justice in the society and said his work will always be remembered.
