LAHORE:Many celebrities tied the knot to begin a new chapter of their life and many renowned celebrities took their last breath and left people in tears.

Pakistani celebrities who died in 2019 left a void in the hearts of their fans and followers forever. These Pakistani celebrities who died in 2019 were outstanding individuals who had made a big place in the hearts of many people. Most of them contributed for decades in their respective fields and were considered experts. Some of these legends had been the part of our daily lives because they were the people who were constantly contributing in our lives in one way or the other. All of them were popular, talented and hardworking individuals who will forever be remembered. Their place can never be taken by another. Death is a sad reality and no matter how talented or loved someone is they cannot escape death. People mourned the deaths of these amasing individuals and will miss them forever.

Distinguished Pakistani artist Jamil Naqsh passed away in 2019. Naqsh’s art is marked by a unique aesthetic touch where colours, lines and figures speak in harmony.

This is the reason that the pigeons that he creates on canvas do not appear to be a species belonging to a different habitat but sinuously merge into the landscape that is populated by human beings. His ability to invoke sensual side to female formed with aesthetic grace is also something that not many artists succeed in achieving.

Renowned TV and film actress Roohi Bano passed away in the beginning of the year on January25, 2019 while undergoing treatment in Turkey. One of Pakistan’s veteran actors Gulab Chandio passed away at the age of 61 on January19, 2019 in Karachi after a long illness. Chandio’s first attained fame was for his role in Sindhi plays during the television’s golden era in the 1980s.

Pakistan’s first female VJ took her last breath on August 28, 2019 at a private hospital in Clifton, Karachi after a long battle with cancer. Popularly known as Nienie she had been in the media industry for 20 years. Veteran actor Ismail Changezi left this world in July 22, 2019. Changezi had acted in many dramas as a supporting actor and is known for the portrayal of negative roles. His exceptional performance can be clearly seen in Jangloos, Mandi, God Father, Ankahi, Zero Point and Fifty Fifty among others.

Shahnaz Begum, famous singer, lost her life due cardiac arrest on March25, 2019. The singer was famous for her national song Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan. Apart from that, she sang another famous national song Sohni Dharti Allah Rakhey in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Pashto actress Lubna Gulalai was murdered in Mardan on February25, 2019. Former test cricketer and world famous Gugli master Abdul Qadir, Senior Journalist Rehmat Ali Razi and renowned Physician Dr Faisal Masood left for their heavenly abode.
