JAMAAT-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has warned the world powers against patronising India and Israel, saying that their continued patronage of the rogue countries would seriously jeopardised the world peace. He was addressing the Pakistani community at Waldheim Town, London, says a message received at Mansoora. Siraj said India’s daily firing across the border killing innocent Pakistani civilians could trigger a war between two nuclear powers any moment. He said it was the duty of the world community, especially the United Nations to stop India’s provocations.
Sirajul Haq said that the Muslims were the most wronged people in the world today. Islam, he said, was the religion of peace and brotherhood and the Islamic teachings stood for the well-being of humanity. However, the Muslims were being killed like fodder in different parts of the world yet they were being blamed for extremism and terrorism and termed threat to peace. He said the world community should end this discrimination against the Muslims by meeting the demands of justice and they should be allowed to live in an atmosphere of peace.
He said India had been continuing unprovoked firing at the working boundary in which hundreds of innocent citizens had been killed. However, the world powers and the UN were silent spectators. He said that the coming to power of an extremist Hindu like Modi in India was the prime cause of unrest in the region.
