PESHAWAR: Several functions were arranged in the provincial metropolis and elsewhere in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday to mark the 144the birthday of the Founder of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
The national flag was hoisted at all government and private buildings. The special events organised on the day shed light on the life and legacy of Quaid-e-Azam. The speakers paid homage to Muhammad Ali Jinnah for being a great visionary who foresaw the importance of two separate nations.
SWABI: Various programmes were held here across Swabi district. The participants paid rich tributes to Quaid-e-Azam. They vowed to work hard for the progress and prosperity of the country while following his principles.
They said Quaid-e-Azam was a great leader who through his foresightedness realized that there was an urgent need of a homeland for the Muslims of the Sub-Continent and worked day and night for its establishment and finally Pakistan came into being.
NOWSHERA: The Nowshera Cantonment Board Executive Officer, Chaudhry Babar Hussain, paid tributes to the services rendered by the Father of the Nation. He said the nation could overcome the challenges and steer the country out of the crises by following in his footsteps.
KALAYA: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Orakzai tribal district, Wajid Ali Khan, speaking at a programme said we secured a separate homeland due to the struggle waged under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam.
