LANDIKOTAL: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Tuesday staged a protest rally against the death of an accused man in the Frontier Corps (FC) custody and demanded judicial probe into the incident. A number of local people, workers of political parties and civil society activists took part in the protest meeting held in the Landikotal bazaar. Holding the JI and black flags, they marched in the bazaar to record their protest. The protesters chanted slogans against the alleged torture and murder of one Khatir Khan Shinwarion Monday while he was in Frontier Corps' custody in the Khyber tribal district. Activists from other parties also took part in the JI-organized rally.
