Commits suicide in Okara

OKARA: A youth committed suicide at Mohallah Seyadanwala Hujra Shah Moqeem on Sunday. Ali Sher ended his life by taking poisonous pills. The motive behind the incident is said to be that he wanted to marry with his cousin but the girl’s parents refused to accept his proposal as he was jobless.

MILL MANAGER HELD: Depalpur AC Khalid Abbas Sial along with police on Sunday arrested a sugar mill general manager for not giving payment to the sugarcane growers.

The district administration and eth sugar mill had made an agreement that payments would be given to eth farmers by Dec 31, 2019.

However, the mill was not serious to clear its payments. To it, the AC arrested mill manager Mian Iftikhar Ahmad under Land Revenue Act

EIGHT INJURED IN ACCIDENT: Eight people were injured in an accident on GT Road. A rickshaw was carrying eight passengers, including seven women, when it overturned. As a result, all eight passengers were injured.
