PM Imran Khan shares Khushwant Singh’s article on India's supremacist ideology
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday shared an article by Khushwant Singh, who predicted that India would be headed with its racial supremacist ideology.
Prime minister shared the article on his twitter account. Prime minister wrote, ‘prophetic words of Khushwant Singh, who foresaw where India was headed with its racial supremacist ideology’. Khushwant Singh was an Indian author, lawyer, diplomat, journalist and politician.
In the article, maintained that every fascist regime needs communities and groups it can demonise in order to thrive. He furthersaid it starts one group or two but it never ends there. He said a movement built on hate can only sustain itself by continually creating fear and strife.
Singh said, “Those of us today who feel secure because we are not Muslims or Christians are living in a fool's paradise”. “No one is safe. We must realise this if we hope to keep India alive. A movement built on hate can only sustain itself by continually creating fear and strife,” he had written in the article.
