Weekly inflation falls 0.53 percent

ISLAMABAD: The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI)-based weekly inflation ended December 12 for the combined consumption group decreased 0.53 percent, compared with the previous week, according to the latest data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics on Monday. SPI for the week under review in the abovementioned group was recorded at 130.06 points against 130.77 points registered in the previous week. Average prices of 20 items registered increase, nine items prices decreased, while prices of the remaining 22 items remained unchanged.
