NOWSHERA: Prof Dr Qamarul Wahab, the vice-chancellor of the University of Technology, has resigned from his office due to financial crisis at the institution, official sources said on Sunday. The sources said that the public sector universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were facing severe financial crunch. They said that the University of Technology at Amangarh in Nowshera could not pay salaries to its employees. It was also facing shortage of staff. This prompted Vice-Chancellor Dr Qamarul Wahab to resign.
