Labourer shot dead in Pakpattan

PAKPATTAN: A labourer was shot dead over a minor issue at Chak 93-D on Sunday. Muhammad Amjad and accused Hanif Khokhar exchanged hot words over a minor issue. Later, the accused allegedly shot Amjad dead and fled. Police have registered a case.

WOMAN WITH KIDS ABDUCTED: A woman and her children were abducted by a farmer at Chak 2-KB on Sunday.Accused Majeed had allegedly developed illicit relations with the wife of Mazhar Hussain of the same village. On the day of the incident, the accused allegedly abducted the woman along with her children. Police have registered a case.

GANG BUSTED: DPO Bilal Umar has said that the police have arrested a gang involved in murder, attempt to murder, dacoity and theft incidents.The DPO said that the police arrested PO Sabir alias Sabri, who was the ring leader of the gang, and his accomplices from Rahimyar Khan and recovered weapons and booty from them.
