Cold spell to continue

LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather was witnessed in the city here Sunday while Met Office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met Officials said that the dry continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while very cold in upper areas. Dense fog is likely to prevail in most plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning and night hours. Frost is also likely in few areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rainfall was recorded at several cities including Lasbella, Rawlakot, Muzaffarabad, Pattan, Dir, Peshawar, Drosh and Balakot and Murree.
