Two die in Nowshera road mishaps

NOWSHERA: Two persons, including a minor girl, died in separate road accidents here on Friday, police said.

They said that 13-year-old Mah Noor was on her way home from the school when an over-speeding car driven by Rehmatullah, hit the auto-rickshaw in Qazi Medical Complex Chowk on Nowshera- Mardan Road. She was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to injuries. The police arrested the car driver.

In another incident, one Waqar Khan was returning home from his workplace when a truck hit his motorbike near the ACL flyover, leaving him injured. He succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

The truck driver fled the scene along with his vehicle. The police registered the case and launched investigation.
