Session held on personality development
TIMERGARA: Lower Dir district youth affairs department arranged a one-day session on personality development for youth at Government High School, Mian Banda. Books display and raising awareness about book reading, a session on career counselling, awareness session on physical fitness, balanced diet, sessions on psychological counselling, political awareness, active citizenship, leadership skills, and promotion of sportsmanship were the main features of the programme. Speaking on the occasion, District Youth Officer, Lower Dir, Izharuddin Khan, said that such events in state-run schools would help the students in their future career. Media coordinator for the Youth Working against Drug Abuse, Rizwan Khan, delivered a presentation, highlighting the worst effects of drugs and how to avoid the fatal habit.
