Two addresses searched in Luton after man held in terror probe

LUTON: Police were searching two addresses in Luton after a man was arrested on suspicion of being involved in terrorism, Scotland Yard said.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command arrested the 25-year-old man at approximately 6.10am on Wednesday. He was held under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000, police said.
The 25-year-old man is being held in custody at a south London police station on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under section 41 of the Terrorism Act (TACT) 2000. Police said there was no immediate risk to the public and that investigations are ongoing.
