PTI officials vow to serve people
CHITRAL: Vowing to serve the people, the newly-elected presidents of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for lower and upper Chitral on Wednesday thanked the party workers for reposing confidence in them.
Addressing a joint press conference at the Chitral Press Club, Sartaj Ahmed Khan and Rehmat Ghazi Khan said that Chitral was a remote and mountainous district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They urged the party workers to extend their cooperation to the development of the area and welfare of the people.
The office-bearers said that the party workers should keep discipline and help them in organising the party. They said after notification for the new office-bearers they would arrange a programme in Booni, adding, there were no rifts in the party. The office-bearers urged the party workers to keep a respectable and decent relationship with the workers of other political parties in the districts. Sartaj Ahmed Khan also thanked Shahzad Sikanderul Mulk, Shahzad Amanur Rehman, Abdul Latif and Muhammad Qasim. Senior leaders including Sultan Khan, Altaf Gohar, general secretary Aminur Rehman and Shujaur Rehman, Shahid and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion.
