Russian investors to boost trade ties

ISLAMABAD: Russian investors are keen to explore business opportunities in Pakistan and want to further strengthen trade and investment cooperation with Pakistani counterparts.

Stanislav Korolev, head of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Commission for Pakistan said this while addressing business community at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).

Korolev was leading a business delegation of Moscow CCI during a visit to ICCI and discussed various options for promoting business collaboration between the private sectors of both the countries.

Russia has advanced technology in industrial sector and Pakistani entrepreneurs could better promote their business by enhancing close cooperation with Russian counterparts. Korolev said Moscow CCI is sending its delegations to 40 to 45 countries every year and they are taking great interest in Pakistan for business prospects. He invited ICCI to take its delegation to Moscow for business-to-business meetings and assured that his chamber would cooperate in connecting them with right partners.
