PPP finalises arrangements for Benazir’s death anniversary
PESHAWAR: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa office-bearers in a meeting on Monday finalised arrangements for participating in the death anniversary of the party’s chairperson Benazir Bhutto on December 27 and visit of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to Peshawar on December 21.
The meeting, presided over by PPP KP chief Humayun Khan, was attended by the other office-bearers and presidents of divisions and various wings. The participants were told that Bilawal Bhutto would visit Peshawar on December 21. Humayun Khan directed the party divisional chapters’ presidents to hold meetings at their respective divisions to make preparations for both the events. He asked the government to provide medical treatment to former president Asif Zardari and allow his physician to continue treatment of the party co-chairman.
