Rich tributes paid to Fanoos Gujjar on death anniversary
DAGGAR: Glowing tributes were paid to Awami Workers Party leader Fanoos Gujjar on his first death anniversary on Sunday.
A large number of people and party workers turned up to show love and affection for Fanoos Gujjar, who passed away last year. Awami Workers Party head Yousaf Mastikhel, provincial head Shahab Khattak, the party’s Malakand division head Usman Fanoos Gujjar and others spoke on the occasion. The party leaders said though Fanoos Gujjar had passed away, they drew inspiration from his political struggle. They shed light on the life and political career of Fanoos Gujjar spanning over many years. The party leaders said Fanoos Gujjar had dedicated himself to the cause of the poor and had always strived for the rights of the underprivileged and the have-nots.
The party leaders said Fanoos Gujjar faced imprisonment for his political beliefs, but he did not falter in his resolve. They pledged to carry forward the mission of the late party leader.
