MANSEHRA: District and Sessions Judge of Upper Kohistan, Mohammad Arshad Khan, on Friday said that litigants were benefitting from the model courts, which decided cases of petty nature within days.
“This is happening for the first time that we disposed of all cases of petty nature and no single narcotics case is pending in the courts here because of speedy trials under model courts,” the judge told a ceremony in Dassu on Friday. District Police Officer Raja Abdul Saboor Khan was also in attendance.
The district and sessions judge said that model courts, set up across the country by orders of the apex court, were the cheapest and prompt source of the easy dispensation of justice.
