Safety videos
With every passing day the number of vehicles on the roads of Islamabad is increasing. Most drivers do follow traffic rules and do not cause a problem for other drivers. However, there are some who drive and behave badly, such as driving with full beam on, repeatedly blinking their lights in heavy traffic, changing several lanes by just giving the indicator without checking if there are vehicles already in the lanes, driving very fast or very slow, zigzagging in the lanes, driving the wrong way on a one way street, etc. Before matters get worse, it is suggested that Pemra along with the Islamabad Traffic Police and vehicle manufacturers produce and run 15 to 20 seconds road safety videos on TV to educate drivers on the correct driving practices. For vehicle manufacturers this could be part of their CSR activities.
