New corps commander meets governor

PESHAWAR: The newly posted Corps Commander Peshawar Lt-Gen Nauman Mahmood called on Governor Shah Farman here at Governor’s House on Wednesday.He remained with the governor for some time and discussed matters about the overall security situation in the province and tribal districts, in particular, said an official handout.
The governor greeted the corps commander on his posting and expressed his well-wishes for him.
Shah Farman highlighted the importance of the services being rendered by the security forces. He said the nation was proud of the sacrifices, which the jawans and officers of the armed forces were rendering for ensuring security and stability of the state.
