233 receive certificates at Mardan driving school
MARDAN: A total of 233 candidates, including 30 women, received certificates upon completion of a course at the Traffic Police Driving School in the district on Friday. District Police Officer Sajjad Khan was the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony, which was also attended by DSP traffic wardens Jamilur Rehman, principal of the school Irshad Khan, other staff and the trainees. Addressing the ceremony, Sajjad Khan said traffic accidents can be avoided if the drivers follow traffic rules and observe discipline and patience. The official added that the school is the first-ever institute in Mardan district which, besides providing training in driving, also acquaints the trainees with information about different vehicles, traffic laws, morality, as well as the purposes behind the establishment of the police assistance lines and police access service, and dispute resolution council.
