Two minor cousins murdered

BUREWALA: Two cousins were killed after abduction at Basti Chamanabad of Mauza Jhoni, Tehsil Mailsi, on Friday. Reportedly, seven-year-old Sania and six-year-old Fauzia, residents of Basti Chamanabad, were on their way to a mosque when they were abducted by some unidentified accused. Later, their bodies were found from fields.
Receiving information, Vehari DPO Akhtar Farooq along with other police officials rushed to the spot and launched an investigation by taking the girls bodies into custody. The relatives of the girls staged a demonstration against the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
