New truck stand demanded
LAHORE:Yasir Naseer, Convener Standing Committee on truck, trailer and motor goods, held a meeting on Thursday at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). Participants in the meeting highlighted the issues being faces by truck, trailer and motor goods transport in the country. Yasir Naseer demanded from the government establish new truck stand as per current requirement. The truck owners and drivers are facing severe problems because of shortage of truck stands. They have to pay heavy fine when they park the truck somewhere else. They have many complaints from traffic police. Unnecessary challan are being paid by the transporters. They are law abiding citizen. They are serving the country by transporting freight on time across the country, he said.
