Millennium Education awarded British Council award
Islamabad :British Council Pakistan awarded International School Award (ISA) to The Millennium Education in a ceremony conducted by British Council Pakistan at a hotel in Islamabad, says a press release. The Millennium Education, Wahid Campus, Oxbridge Campus, Chaksahzad, Piccadilly Campus, F-8/4, Trafalgar Campus, F-7/1, Kingston Campus, G-15, Greenwich Campus, G-13, Khyber Campus, Peshawar, Pine Campus, Abbottabad and Future World School, Karachi won the ISA Award 2019-22, says a press release.
The awards were handed over by chief guest Zia Ullah Bangash, adviser Elementary & Secondary Education KPK and guest of honor Gohar Ali Khan, director Curriculum and Future Education KPK with Nishat Riaz, director Education, British Council, Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said, “The International School Award promotes shared understanding between different cultures, particularly important in the modern world. It is a great achievement for schools and it reflects a lot of hard work, commitment and dedication from the schools.”
The International School Award celebrates the achievements of schools that do exceptional work in international education. Fostering an international dimension in the curriculum is at the heart of the British Council’s work with schools, so that young people gain the cultural understanding and skills they need for life work in today’s world. The International School Award encourages and supports schools to develop an international ethos embedded throughout the school, a whole school approach to international work, collaborative curriculum-based work with a number of partner schools, year-round international activity and Involvement of the wider community.
